Every girl’s situation is different. That is why our work starts with listening. We take the time to understand the challenges girls face and work together with them, their families and schools to find practical ways forward.

At school
We work with schools to support learning beyond the classroom. Through talks and activities on topics such as time management, healthy relationships and personal development, girls and other young people have a space to ask questions, build confidence and develop skills for life.
At home
A girl’s opportunities are shaped by what happens outside school, too. We visit families, listen to parents and caregivers and better understand the circumstances at home. Together, we look at what may be preventing a girl from fully participating in her education and what support could make a difference.
Responding to individual needs
There is no one-size-fits-all solution. One girl may need support managing school and responsibilities at home, while another may face financial barriers that make staying in school difficult.
When needed, SHEEO can provide practical support such as menstrual hygiene products, shoes, essential items or food assistance. This support helps address immediate barriers while we continue working with girls and their families toward longer-term opportunities.

Empowering rural adolescents’ girls and boys in public secondary schools and the community on bodily autonomy, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) through different capacity building activities, community sensitization, sports initiatives and theatre.

Supporting the rural, brilliants, neediest orphans and vulnerable girls to acces education in private secondary schools and tertiary educational institutions in order to prepare them to be leaders of tomorrow and change agents for their lives and communities
